GRANTS:
Sponsorship
The final sponsorship allocations were decided by the grants committee last Friday 30 September 2011. The Board will not be considering any further applications this financial year. Sponsorship grants are now closed.
Secondary Education
Opening Date 28 October 2011. Closing Date 21 November. Allocation Date 9 December. Applications will be
available on the Website 5 working days prior to opening.
Tertiary
Opening and closing dates to be confirmed.
NEW TRUSTEES
The Board congratulates the official appointment of the elected trustees for Te Pae O Tuhoe, Matahina F, Tahora 2G2 through the Maori Land Court on Monday 3rd October 2011, effective immediately. A Handover date is planned for late November early December to allow time for an orderly Transition. Any queries for these trusts will now be referred to the Trustees.
AGM
The Board thanks those who made it to the AGM held at Waiohau Sept. 3rd annual reports are available at the Office, or may be downloaded from the Website.
SUCCESSIONS
The Board office continues to host the Maori Land court on a monthly basis to provide better access for our people in addressing their successions, and other matters. Appointments have been full every month.
WINDING DOWN
The Board staff will be looking at a succession plan of operation support with Tuhoe Te Urutaumatua interim staff in anticipation of closing the Boards own operations this year in its current form post December 2011.
