The table below sets out the Board’s proposed lands trust, dates, and venues of general meetings of beneficial owners to be held this year.

General Meetings of Owners
The Board is undertaking to hold a general meeting of owners for the majority of the land trusts under our trusteeship.
A schedule is attached outlining which land trusts, dates and proposed venues (venues to be confirmed). We do also advise that the venues will be subject to change right up until the Hui date due to tangi taking precedence over any hui. We advise that you check our website as it is the most effective tool for providing uptodate information.

Please also be advised that all notices of AGM’s will be posted in the NZ Herald as our national paper. We will also post notification in two other local newspapers dependant on where the majority of beneficial owners reside based on our Tribal Register. The Daily Post, Whakatane Beacon, Wairoa Star, and Hawkes Bay Today have been used so far.
Period of Notification
The Board undertakes to provide at least 30 days notice or the period of notification outlined in the individual Trust deed, which ever gives more notification.
Reports
Notification will be posted on the website as soon as the reports are available. The report itself however will not be made available upon the website due to sensitive information.
The Board will also undertake to email and post the reports out to those beneficial owners who current contact details are upon our Tribal Register. Please insure we have your current contact details by contacting the office or that you are actually registered.
